Neues Museum in Berlin, one of the best museums I have visited. September 2011.
I’m heading to Melbourne this July for half a week! This photo details my the first thing I did in the city when I visited in February. That is, eating Lord of the Fries on the Yarra. Will need to recreate this moment.
With Grealy during our hike around Cradle Mountain National Park. Feb 2013.
One evening in Switzerland, my aunt and I decided to drive to a friends place in the west, before we ventured up the (if my memory serves me correctly) Creux du Van. We made a fire at the top to make fondue, which was laden with Kirsch. I think I was about to get drunk of the fondue.
Afterwards, we decided to walk down the mountain. This process involved walking through a field of cows whom appear docile from the image, but when you are within a few metres of one, they can become quite aggressive I ensured I kept my distance.
Switzerland in summer is an experience I treasure dearly. August 2011.
My dutch friends has been travelling around Australia and she has been in Brisbane for the past week. Last night took her up to Mt. Cootha to check out the view and she said Brisbane ‘looked awesome’.
INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION.
I also wish I brought a tripod along because all my photos are very blurry, but you get what’s going on.
Henry and I attempted to push this massive prayer wheel in Zhongdian (the heaviest in China) around 360 degrees as it apparently entitles the pushers to many years good luck.
We tried, but it would not budge.
Our futile attempt led to a group of domestic tourists coming to our aid and with the added muscle we managed to give the wheel a slow spin! Here we are posing with the main dude who got the wheel spinning. He was shouting and screaming as we pushed it round!
